This article is more than 9 years old.

I'm A Moose and I Love My Lips by Marty the Moose (from Moose Tunes For Kids, Father and Son Publishing, 2000)
It’s good to know that there are moose out there-or a moose, anyway-fighting those negative moose body stereotypes.

Fight On (USC Fight Song) by The USC Trojan Marching Band (from Fight Songs, Delta, 1989)
Fight on, indeed. Or just take a highly paid position as head coach of an NFL team.

Notre Dame Victory Song by The Dukes of Dixieland (from On Campus, Audio Fidelity, 1958)
Recorded juuuuuuust a bit after Gipp played for Notre Dame, but it sounds authentic, doesn’t it?

Somebody’s Gonna Get Their Head Kicked in Tonight by The Rezillos (from Can’t Stand the Rezillos, Sire, 1978)
Only A Game is in its eighteenth year, so we try not to repeat ourselves when we can avoid it. But sometimes that’s difficult, as in the case of this song. We’re a pretty mellow staff fronted by a pacifist host. And yet we’ve used this song about 4 or 5 times. What’s most disturbing about this is that it always cracks the entire staff up, especially when lead singer Eugene Reynolds joyously shouts “Pu’ a boooot in!!!”

Sweet Revenge by Pat Green (from Lucky Ones, Universal, 2005)
There are lots of revenge songs out there, but this one appealed to me because it is completely unapologetically vengeful. There’s some humor in that unless, I suppose, you’re the target of said revenge.

This program aired on September 17, 2010. The audio for this program is not available.
