Ben Hogan Remembered
ResumeBen Hogan was an incredibly talented golfer and an extremely private individual. In Mr. Hogan, the Man I Knew, Bill says LPGA golfer Kris Tschetter offers a rare insight into Hogan's life.
Ben Hogan was famous for the hard-earned consistency of his swing, for winning golf tournaments, and for boiling his knowledge of the game down into nuggets of “management” advice such as “’Great’ comes from outworking them, outthinking them, and outplaying them.”
He was also famous for returning to the course and winning championships after an automobile accident in which he was so badly injured that he was told he’d never walk, let alone play golf.
