The Philadelphia Spectrum, former home of the Sixers and Flyers, will be demolished later this month. The Spectrum housed three title-winning teams, two NCAA final fours, and “all kinds of smoke” at concerts from bands like the Grateful Dead and Pink Floyd. WHYY’s Joel Rose reports on how Philly sports fans and memorabilia hunters are saying goodbye to the old building.

This segment aired on November 13, 2010.
