Fix yourself a Hot Brown Sandwich and mix up some mint juleps: The 137th Kentucky Derby is here! While the horses and jockeys get ready for the big race, Bill talks with the Louisville Courier-Journal's Jennie Rees about the best picks for your entertainment-only dollar.

The 137th Kentucky Derby will happen despite some complaints that the horses might be a little slower than usual. In an interview with Bill Littlefield, Louisville Courier-Journal reporter Jennie Rees says she doesn't think a slow race is a problem.

“There’s never a bad Derby. They might be slower than some of the fields in the past, but they are competitively slower, so it’s going to make for a great race, and it’s going to make for great betting.”
