The fall of the Berlin Wall marked the end of the Cold War and the beginning of the post-Cold War era. According to Cold War historian John Lewis Gaddis, the post-Cold War era came to an end on September 11th. The Cold War period was the last time the security of our nation seemed at risk. John Lewis Gaddis joins us this hour to discuss the lessons we learned during the Cold War that we can apply to our current crisis.
