2002 looking back
Resume"May you live in interesting times", goes the Chinese curse. And we do. The wheels of history tuning through the last year are large. Their meaning and consequences are still only dimly understood, even as we dash ahead toward war and more. Tonight we're pausing for a moment to take a breath and consider the tumult of events that have shaped the year 2002. We're looking for patterns. We're looking for themes. Trying to catch a glimpse of where it is we stand in history as the flood of news goes by. And we're reaching out to you for the support we need to keep our coverage coming. We're all in this together. Up next On Point: A year like no other and what we've learned.
