photoAs the war in Iraq is winding down and plans for reconstruction have been drawn, we're taking a look at the way that Hollywood has handled post war rebuilding on the silver screen.

The political, economic, cultural and personal reconstructing of nations and its people have long been a hot topic in the movies, as far back as the silent screen and Birth of a Nation. Movies like Gone with the Wind, MacArthur, Judgment at Nuremberg and Three Kings have plotted around post war rebuilding.

On Point takes a look through the ages of post-war reconstruction in the movies and what viewers might be able to learn from them.
