The state of the economy and the war in Iraq are not popular issues with the American public right now. And Bush's poll numbers are markedly down. But George Bush has shown himself to be a fighter, and he struck a fighting pose today in New Hampshire, where he laid out the message and image he is bound to carry across the country over the next year.
