Mass. Ruling on Gay Marriage

photoMassachusetts' highest court ruled today that gay marriage is permitted under the state's constitution, but stopped short of allowing licenses to be issued to the seven couples who filed the lawsuit. Massachusetts' legislature has 180 days to decide whether the state will become the first to legalize gay marriage.
