The Bush Revolution in Foreign Policy

In their new book "America Unbound, The Bush Revolution in Foreign Policy," Ivo Daalder, Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution and James Lindsay, vice president and director of studies at the Council on Foreign Relations, argue that the Republicans are taking American foreign policy in a revolutionary new direction, and that, contrary to popular belief, George Bush is leading the way.

Many Bush critics on both sides of the aisle have asserted that he has been swept up in the agenda of the neo-conservatives or is overly influenced by Dick Cheney. But Daalder and Lindsay paint a picture of the president as more than a figure head or symbolic leader. His beliefs and convictions are directly reflected in the team he has built around him.
