CNN anchorman-crusader Lou Dobbs is on a roll these days — rolling fury. The one-time standard-issue Republican business reporter has morphed, in the last few years, into a fire-breathing super critic of corporate greed and elite nonchalance about what he sees as the crushing of America's vast center.

Failing schools, failing healthcare, failing wages, open borders, money-puppet politicians, CEOs raking it in while families struggle... Lou Dobbs now calls it open warfare on the middle class. Critics charge him with class warfare hysteria and xenophobic jingoism, but Lou Dobbs' ratings are soaring.

Cable news crusader Lou Dobbs says it's war on the middle class, and he's fighting back.

Quotes from the Show:

"I am angry about people who should know better ..." Lou Dobbs

"My anger is born out of a system that is entirely influenced by corporate America. And there is no counterveiling influence." Lou Dobbs

"I am not anti-business. But, unfettered capitalism ... I absolutely reject." Lou Dobbs

"Both parties [the GOP and the Democratic Party] are corporate parties." Lou Dobbs

Guests:

Lou Dobbs, CNN anchor and author of "War on the Middle Class: How the Government, Big Business, and Special Interest Groups Are Waging War on the American Dream and How to Fight Back"

This program aired on November 1, 2006.
