There's a place on the web where you can find passion, big ideas, brilliant people. And it's open to everyone. It's called TED, and though it stands for technology, entertainment and design, the mission is no less than to make the world a smarter, better place.

Curator Chris Anderson, has posted more than 900 talks from TED Conferences on the site by Bill Gates, Bono, but mostly people you've never heard of. They've been viewed more than 400 million times. Once you discovered TED, it's hard not to be hooked.
