On Point is broadcasting live this hour with NPR from the Comfort Inn in Manchester, N.H.

It is hubba-hubba time today for the GOP in New Hampshire. First in the nation primary. Everybody who’s still in the game is here but Rick Perry, who’s already hightailed it on to South Carolina. We are here, live in New Hampshire. Tracking Mitt Romney. Right in the middle of Rick Santorum’s rally, and the Occupy scrum outside. With Newt Gingrich canvassers fresh off the streets.

Republicans want the White House. They’re still not sure who to send for it. It will matter.

This hour, On Point: we are live on voting day from the first in the nation primary in New Hampshire.

From Tom's Reading List

Manchester Union Leader "How many of the diners wolfing down eggs and pancakes are actually eligible or will vote in tomorrow’s First-in-the-Nation Presidential Primary is anyone’s guess but about 70 of them - including Barry and her fellow students - aren’t."

Politico "Ahead of the Republican primary Tuesday, there’s no sign that the populist conservative movement is poised to shape the presidential results in the “Live Free or Die” state — or anywhere else, for that matter."

National Journal "The Democrats started it, and now Republican rivals are piling on. Mitt Romney is suddenly playing defense about his career as a venture capitalist--and in a Republican primary campaign, of all things."
