Our July 8 hour on the changing nature of summer vacations was full of great calls — you told us all about the different  ways you've changed your travel plans by using Airbnb and other icons of the new 'sharing' economy. A few of you — Airbnb hosts, CouchSurfers and more — have already had some remarkable travel adventures outside of the beaten-down tourist tracks.

But we want more of those.

This summer, On Point radio wants to collect your stories of unusual, quirky or just plain wonderful shared summer vacation adventures. They can be anything — an unexpected carpool on a trip to Minnesota's Lake Country, a beautiful cabin off of Airbnb in a quiet corner of the Adirondacks, a plain old hotel stay in your favorite resort town that became something new and better. We want them all. We'll collect your stories in the comments here, in this GoogleForm and in our special voicemail service (call 617-353-0683 and leave a message), and share them all later this summer.

So get hiking / riding / couchsurfing /etc. We'll be here, collecting your stories until September 2!
