Our Week In The Web: June 12, 2015

A few listeners (well, one) complained during the #OnPointLIVE event this Wednesday that we were tweeting too much. (The tweet has since been deleted). But we'd argue that the conversation we created with our audience — and our wider Twitter audience — was something valuable. If you were following along from home Wednesday night, you might have caught our live Periscope videos and pictures from the event, and perhaps had a chance to ask guest Cheryl Strayed a question (that you didn't get to hear the response to until we broadcast the conversation today, sorry for that delay). We're always in the process of trying out new tools and social tricks to bring our conversations close to you and foster cross-platform interaction. Did it work? We're still figuring that out. (Although we think our collection of your comments and questions was worth it).

It's not self-promotion to highlight how great all your #OnPointLIVE contributions were before, during and after our interview with Cheryl Stayed. (Twitter)
