With less than three weeks until the New Hampshire primary, a new CNN/WMUR poll this week shows Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Bernie Sanders both extending their leads among likely voters in New Hampshire.

At the same time, a new WBUR poll shows the biggest group of voters in New Hampshire — independents — are interested in Sanders and in Republican John Kasich, though they also remain quite open to changing their minds.

Political analysts Democrat Dan Payne and Republican Todd Domke joined WBUR's Morning Edition to discuss what all this means to the candidates.

This segment aired on January 22, 2016.
