There weren't a lot of surprises last night in the Wisconsin primary.

Polls leading into the primary showed Ted Cruz and Bernie Sanders with comfortable leads, and both won with authority.

In the Republican race, Ted Cruz won with 48 percent over Donald Trump's 35 percent, with John Kasich a distant third. For the Democrats, Bernie Sanders won with 57 percent to Hillary Clinton's 43 percent.

The question stands for both parties: Has there been a major shift in momentum for the candidates, and what does it mean moving forward? For more on this, our political analysts — Democrat Dan Payne and Republican Todd Domke — joined Morning Edition.

This segment aired on April 6, 2016.
