Days before the election, a new WBUR poll shows significant movement in a few races in the swing state of New Hampshire.

After trailing Hillary Clinton throughout the campaign, Donald Trump has a 1-point lead in the poll. With the margin of error, that makes the presidential race a dead heat.

In a New Hampshire contest that could determine which party controls the U.S. Senate, the WBUR poll shows incumbent Republican Kelly Ayotte with a 6-ppoint lead over Democratic Gov. Maggie Hassan. Just three weeks ago, they were tied.

The Senate candidates met Wednesday night for their final televised debate. Among those watching was Boston Globe political reporter James Pindell, who joined Morning Edition.

This segment aired on November 3, 2016.
