All nine Massachusetts members of the U.S. House are up for re-election this year, but the races have received little attention. Just five members are facing opposition, and none of the contests appear to be close.

Reporter Steve Brown joined WBUR's Morning Edition for a look at the races.

Richard Neal, incumbent Democrat
Frederick Mayock, independent
Thomas Simmons, Libertarian

3rd District
Niki Tsongas, incumbent Democrat
Ann Wofford, Republican

4th District
Joseph Kennedy III, incumbent Democrat
Dave Rosa, Republican

8th District
Stephen Lynch, incumbent Democrat
Bill Burke, Republican

9th District
Bill Keating, incumbent Democrat
Mark Alliegro, Republican
Chris Cataldo, unenrolled
Paul Harrington, independent
Anna Grace Raduc, unenrolled
