Make Music, Harvard Square

Harvard Square will play host to over 120 local bands during its third annual "Make Music Harvard Square" outdoor fest on Saturday. The event is modeled after Paris' "Fête de la Musique," a street-music festival started 28 years ago. Music featured includes Rock and Roll, Caribbean, Blues, R&B, Latin, Gypsy and Choral Singing, and will be happening in 20 locations throughout Harvard Square from 1 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Some of the artists playing at the festival include:
- Serge Gainsbourg's son and Berklee College of Music student Lulu Gainsbourg
- Gypsy Jazz band The Chicken Thieves
- DJ Kamal
