Panel: Plenty Of Blame To Go Around In Gates Arrest
ResumeThe arrest of prominent black professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. last year at his home in Cambridge triggered a national debate over how the police interact with minorities. In a report out Wednesday, an independent commission find fault with Gates and the arresting officer, saying both missed opportunities to "ratchet down" the tension.
