The casino bill looked dead at the beginning of the week, but a vote in Washington to approve new federal spending threatens to force the Legislature back into formal session. If they come back for that vote, will lawmakers take up the embattled casino bill again?

Our week-in-review panel discusses that story, as well as the vote against Supreme Court justice nominee Elena Kagan by the Bay State's GOP Senator, Scott Brown. Also, with I-93 nearly shut down during two rush hours this week — and rain water pouring down the marble stairs of the Great Hall at the State House — has all that deferred maintenance finally come home to roost?
