Vineyard Vacation? Take The T

The designer Rob Stewart imagined subway lines in places without public transit and then mapped his creations, such as this one for Martha's Vineyard.

It's summertime, and driving around hot spots like Martha's Vineyard can be a nightmare. You could try to rent a scooter. But why not take the subway? Just take the Blue Line to Oak Bluffs.

OK, there’s no T on the Vineyard, and the islanders would probably keep it that way. But for some, it is a nice fantasy.

That's what graphic artist Rob Stewart has done in Northampton. His work is getting a lot of attention on Hubbub.
