With the primaries behind them, the candidates begin a seven-week stretch to the Massachusetts general election. And it's likely all eyes will be on the 10th Congressional District, the only race without an incumbent. The district traditionally has been Democratic, but earlier this year voters there voted strongly for Republican Sen. Scott Brown.

The candidates are Norfolk County District Attorney William Keating, the Democrat, and state Rep. Jeffrey Perry, a Republican. And make no mistake: There will be a fight. In his victory speech Tuesday night, Keating already started attacking Perry over questions that arose during Perry's career as a police officer.

We ask Perry about his past and about his plan to win in a state that hasn't sent a republican to the House of Representatives in more than decade.

Guest:

  • Jeff Perry, state representative and republican candidate for U.S. Congress in the Massachusetts 10th district.
