When You Can't Stop: Blocker Apps Keep Drivers From Texting

Boston Globe technology reporter Hiawatha Bray says that while the ban on texting behind the wheel may save lives, it could also provide a little economic stimulus. That's because software developers are using their programming skills to develope new applications that help us keep our eyes on the road — instead of on our keypads.
