Boston Public Schools Superintendent Carol Johnson proposed closing six more under-performing schools at Wednesday's Boston school committee meeting, and many parents are unhappy about the idea. Johnson also proposed merging two schools in Dorchester and creating two new in-district charter schools. The Boston school committee could vote on the proposal next month.
