Mere weeks before election day, Massachusetts politics is white hot.

Charges of campaign espionage are rocking the race for governor as Tim Cahill wins a temporary injunction that stops his former aides from providing information to Republican rival Charlie Baker. Meanwhile, the Democratic candidate for auditor, Suzanne Bump, is accused of illegally underpaying her property taxes. And incumbent Democratic Congressman John Tierney denies knowing anything about his wife's dealings with an illegal off-shore gambling operation. Our week-in-review panel talks politics.

Guests:

  • Peter Canellos, editorial page editor, the Boston Globe
  • Craig Sandler, owner and publisher, State House News Service

This program aired on October 8, 2010.
