Every month, Boston foodies have the opportunity to check out new restaurants through a new supper club appropriately dubbed "Mystery Meet."

Mystery Meet is not a networking group or a dating service. It is, however, an ideal way to meet strangers who love food and who love exploring Boston's food scene.

The only real rules are to get your reservation in on time — last month's event sold out in three minutes — and be flexible, since you won't find out where you're eating until 24 hours in advance.

Mystery Meet usually attracts an adventurous crowd. But this month, even the most daring diners were challenged — visually.

Radio Boston's Jessica Alpert crashed the dinner party to learn more about Boston's first "Dining in the Dark" experience.
