The world's older cities are really cities on top of cities. Boston is a rare example in North America where you can really go back in time by digging down.

That's the case at Faneuil Hall, where archeologists have dug a 10-foot hole and are able to peer 300 years into Boston's maritime past. Radio Boston's Adam Ragusea takes a tour.
