Welcome to 2010. More people are skipping the stress of preparing a huge Thanksgiving dinner for their family and are handing the job over to professionals — restaurateurs.

The Cambridge institution Upstairs on the Square, formerly known as Upstairs at the Pudding, opened in 1982 and began serving Thanksgiving dinner four years later.   The restaurant was one of the first in the Boston area to offer diners the option of eating out on Thanksgiving.  Now, Upstairs on the Square offers a twist on traditional holiday fare, and even a vegan menu.

We'll taste some of the chef's favorite dishes and we'll take your calls to sort out any last-minute emergencies involving your Thanksgiving meal.
