Brookline's Green Dog Program will now be charging some green in order to maintain the program.

Last week, Brookline's Board of Selectmen voted unanimously to charge an annual $50 per dog fee for residents who want to let their dogs roam leash-free in the town's parks. Non-residents will have to pay $100 dollars a year per dog for the privilege.

This segment aired on December 13, 2010.
