The Bruins lost to the Canadiens 2-1 on Tuesday night, but are hoping for a big victory in Game 7 on home ice.

American hockey fans can at least celebrate the USA Women's big victory over Canada in the World Championships on Monday. The American women are coached by Katey Stone, who also coaches the Harvard women's hockey team. Four players are also current or former Harvard players. Josephine Pucci is currently a sophomore, and she played alongside Harvard alumnae Caitlin Cahow, Angela Ruggiero and Julie Chu.

The NFL players' lockout continues this week, and may delay the start of the football season. Meanwhile, Boston College player Anthony Castonzo is waiting to find out if he will be, as predicted, the first offensive lineman picked in the NFL draft Thursday night.
