Senate Election Revs Up, Warren Declares Candidacy
PlayAnother Democrat says he's ready to challenge Sen. Scott Brown in 2012: Newton Mayor Setti Warren. Warren joins three other candidates who have declared that they're seeking the Democratic nomination: City Year co-founder Alan Khazei, former Lt. Gov.-nominee Bob Massie and Salem immigration lawyer Marisa De-Franco.

It's too soon to know how the Democratic primary will shake out. But conventional wisdom holds the nominee will face a tough race against Brown. But is that really true? Glen Johnson has been doing some math to try and figure that out.
