DiMasi Defense May Rest This Week
PlayLawyers for former House Speaker Sal DiMasi and his two co-defendants began laying out the defense's argument Monday as the corruption trial heads into its second month. In court Monday, lawyers revealed that the defense plans to wrap up testimony as soon as Wednesday — meaning jurors could be receiving instruction and start deliberating Thursday — much sooner than originally expected.
