Red Sox Grasp For Answers After September Collapse

Okay, so they lost. The season is done. They're out of the play-offs. What more is there to say?

But how can we avoid talking about what happened last night - the worst regular season collapse in baseball history?

Well, maybe Red Sox fans shouldn't be surprised. After a decade that brought them two World Series championships, perhaps it was inevitable that sooner or later the Sox would eventually find their way back to the same kind of play that deprived them of a championship for 86 years.

We ask Chad Finn of Boston Globe's "Touching All the Bases" what he thinks of the Sox's record.
