It's Tuesday and time for our weekly CommonHealth segment and today we're tackling a somewhat sensitive subject, and one that may not be appropriate for some of our younger listeners.

You've no doubt heard of the eating disorder known as anorexia, but what about sexual anorexia?

It's a real medical condition, according to some doctors and therapists who treat it. And Rachel Zimmerman, co-host of WBUR's Commonhealth blog, wrote about it recently.

Guests:

  • Suki Hanfling, Clinical social worker, therapist and director of The Institute for Sexuality & Intimac
  • Rachel Zimmerman, co-host, CommonHealth, WBUR

More:

This segment aired on December 13, 2011.
