This fall, Foxborough lost an English teacher when Joe Fletcher left his classroom of ten years to pursue a music career full-time.

He's the frontman and driving force of Joe Fletcher and the Wrong Reasons, a country-blues band hailing from Rhode Island.

The band's two full-length albums - Bury Your Problems (2007) and White Lighter (2010) - have received critical praise. Their music evokes the rough rowdy energy of Neil Young, and some of the lyrical cleverness of a young Bob Dylan.

Fletcher's raw, country feel and clever, story-based lyrics make for music that is both compelling and irresistably danceable.

Fletcher joined us solo with his guitar in the studio.
