Ahead of this weekend's primary in South Carolina, Mitt Romney's campaign released two new ads on Wednesday attacking former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.

The new ads are the latest sign that the Romney campaign is looking over its shoulder at Gingrich. Romney is back in the Palmetto State after a day in New York raising campaign funds. WBUR's Monica Brady Myerov has been following Romney in South Carolina and will join Radio Boston to talk about developments there.

Guest:

  • Monica Brady Myerov, reporter, WBUR

This program aired on January 18, 2012.
