Six more weeks of winter. That was the Groundhog Day prediction from Punxsutawney Phil on Thursday. The question is, what kind of winter weather can Boston expect for the remainder of the season. Until now anyway, this winter has been one of the mildest that Boston has ever seen. Will it keep up? Or do locals need to brace for a cold and snowy barrage from now until spring?

Boston meteorologist Mark Rosenthal will join us to help make sense of it all.

Guest:

  • Mark Rosenthal, Boston meteorologist.

This program aired on February 2, 2012.
