Until about a week ago, most casual sports fans were probably not familiar with New York Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin. And why would they have been? After all, it wasn't too long ago that Lin was an out-of-work Harvard University graduate posting videos on YouTube. But seemingly overnight, Lin, who is Chinese-American, has broken out to become one of the game's biggest stars both here in the states, and around the world, especially in China.

So what's behind his sudden surge? Bill Littlefield of Only A Game stops by to offer his take.

Guests:

  • Bill Littlefield, host, Only A Game.
  • Bob Ryan, columnist, The Boston Globe.
