Ryan Montbleau began his career as a solo artist, playing small clubs and folk venues around Boston. Now he's well known around town — and around the country — as the front-man of the high energy Ryan Montbleau Band.

But for his newest CD, called "For Higher," Montbleau headed to New Orelans to record with some of the city's best known musicians, including Ivan Neville, Anders Osborne and George Porter Jr.
