Well, now they are — or at least their trying to.
Smartphones apps are taking on roles traditionally held by real people — diet coach, exercise instructor, therapist. In the app development sector there is a growing field of smartphone apps, many of which are being developed in the Boston area, dedicated to changing your behavior for the better. There are apps that profess to help you lose weight, exercise more and sleep better.
So, can your phone really change who you are?
