Resume

By the time she was 6-years-old, Alex Herr had climbed 24 of the 48 peaks in New Hampshire with her mom, Trish. She went on to climb the rest before her seventh birthday. Her younger sister Sage, did the same thing by the time she was 6.

It's quite a feat. Especially given the unexpected, difficult history her family has with the White Mountains. It's all chronicled by Patricia Ellis Herr, Alex's mom, in the new book: "UP: A Mother and Daughter's Peakbagging Adventure."
