Mass. Supreme Judicial Court Overturns Decision Regarding Infant's Death

The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court ruled on Friday that women do not open themselves to criminal charges by giving birth without medical assistance.

In 2007, a Milford woman gave birth to a nearly full-term baby whose body was later found in the trash.
