We're at the 4th annual TEDx Boston conference. All day we've been listening to local luminaries share their "ideas worth spreading." Today's talks are on topics ranging from the global economics of water to urban beekeeping. And now is our chance to do what we normally don't get to do at a TED talk — ask the follow-up questions.

Guests:

  • Kent Larson, about cities in the post-automobile era
  • Ashifi Gogo, about how cell phones can help solve the problem of counterfeit drugs
  • Monson tornado survivor Caitria O'Neill and her sister Morgan about disaster recovery
  • Nick Leschly on gene therapy
  • Slam poet Franny Choi on the influence of western culture on her native Korea

This segment aired on June 22, 2012.
