Gov. Deval Patrick suggested on Tuesday that he might be ready to sign so-called “three strikes” legislation -- which would eliminate the possibility of parole for repeat violent offenders -- but will seek commitments from legislative leaders to work on improving the bill next session.
The current legislative sessions draws to a close on July 31.
