Coriolanus is one of the Bard's lesser known plays, but when I sat down with the company's artistic director, Steven Maler, it became clear that the play about leadership and the relationship between the governed and the governors continues to be relevant to modern audiences.

Performances of "Coriolanus" on the Common plays through Aug. 12.

Guests:

  • Steven Maler, artistic director of the Commonwealth Shakespeare Company and director of this summer's Shakespeare on the Common production of Coriolanus.
