MGM Reveals Plan for Springfield Resort Casino
ResumeCasino giant MGM Resorts International has unveiled its plans for a new $800 million resort-style casino in Springfield.
The development would include 89,000-square feet of gambling space and a 25-story hotel, according to the proposal outlined by the Las Vegas-based company Wednesday at Springfield’s MassMutual Convention Center.
WBUR's Lynn Jolicoeur was at the convention center and joined Radio Boston live from Springfield.
