Mass. Democrats Help Open The Democratic National Convention On Tuesday

From Tampa to Charlotte, the focus shifts this week to the Democratic National Convention as President Obama's bid for re-election hits full-stride.

The Massachusetts delegates kicked off the first official day of the DNC Tuesday morning with a down to business breakfast, at which Gov. Deval Patrick and Democratic candidate for senator, Elizabeth Warren, addressed the delegation.

Patrick is scheduled to speak before the convention on Tuesday night, Warren on Wednesday night.
