From Tampa to Charlotte, the focus shifts this week to the Democratic National Convention as President Obama's bid for re-election hits full-stride.

The Massachusetts delegates kicked off the first official day of the DNC Tuesday morning with a down to business breakfast, at which Gov. Deval Patrick and Democratic candidate for senator, Elizabeth Warren, addressed the delegation.
