When College Stress Leads To 'Meltdown'

Many of us look back at our college years longingly, perhaps as "the best years of our life." The place where we met life-long friends, colleagues, significant others.

But what about all of the papers we had to write, exams we had to take, the homesickness, the competition, the anxiety about out futures? That's the side of college you don't see smacked all over admissions pamphlets and university websites.

Well,  last month one MIT student wrote on the school's admissions blog about having a "meltdown," revealing the stress and enormous pressure to succeed faced by college students.
